The Avon Club is a women's
organization for residents who live
or work within the Avonworth School
District (Ben Avon, Ben Avon
Heights, Emsworth, Kilbuck and Ohio
Township). Its purpose is to
promote civic participation for
community betterment and provide a
common social interest.

The organization holds a number of
activities designed to raise funds
for location nonprofits and
community groups. Some of these
activities include:

Fall Festival: A street
fair in downtown Ben Avon that
features crafters, food, music
and fun. It is usually held in
late September or early October
on a Saturday.

House Tour: Avon Club
has hosted a number of house
tours that feature leading homes
in Ben Avon. Last year's tour
was during the Christmas season.

Avon Eaters:
Approximately four times a year,
members of Avon Club and their
spouses meet at local homes for
an elaborate dinner and
libations.

Avonworth Scholarship:
Each year, the Club presents a
deserving young woman a college
scholarship.
The Club currently has over 40
members who meet the first Thursday
of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the
Borough Hall. Women must be 18
years of age or older to join.
