Avonworth Community Park is located on Camp Horne Rd. just north of Ben Avon.  It is outfitted with a swimming pool, fully equipped with a slide, as well as tennis and basketball courts.  It also has a pavilion with picnic tables for a perfect day out from the spring to the fall.  In addition, there is an indoor party facility that can be rented for your next get-together.  Watch the flowers bud and the leaves turn colors as the kids play on an enormous castle/fortress playground with swings, slides and teeter totters.  Also located on the grounds are beautifully manicured baseball and softball fields where area teams play.

The pool opens May 27, 2007 and the season ends on September 4, 2007.  The hours are Monday through Saturday, 11:30 AM to 7:30 PM with special night swims on Wednesday nights.  On Wednesday nights, swimming is open from 8:00-10:00 PM for only $2.00 with or without a pass.  The pool can also be rented from 8:00 to 10:00 PM for $70.00 per hour plus guard fees.  Beginning on May 7, 2007, reservations will be accepted with a $140.00 deposit. 

Daily Admission (including slide) is $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (3-16).
Children 2 and under are free.
Admission is $3.00 after 5:00 PM.
Wednesday Night Swims Only $2.00

Please Note:

• A caregiver pass is available with the purchase of a family pass for $50.

• Residents live in Ben Avon, Ben Avon Heights, Emsworth, Kilbuck, or Ohio Township. 

• Identification is required.

• Lap lane available at our discretion.

• Slide may be closed at our discretion.

• The ACORD Park Swim Team is open to children and teens ages 6-17.  The Alligators will begin practice after Memorial Day.

• The ACORD Park Pool also offers swim lessons!
